Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Backend Developer (PHP/Laravel) to join our dynamic IT team. You will work closely with experienced backend developers, frontend developers, and designers to contribute to building and maintaining web applications that meet both user needs and project objectives.

We are an exciting product team with ambitious plans for international growth. We collaborate with global brands and assign dedicated teams to different projects based on their requirements.

While we are growing quickly, we prioritize maintaining a positive work culture that supports learning and development. To support this growth, we are looking for fresh minds eager to learn and take on challenges.

You will be involved in the following

  • Assisting in creating responsive websites designed in Figma and turning them into dynamic web pages.
  • Learning to handle basic website maintenance and assisting with page speed optimization.
  • Developing UX/UI prototypes under the guidance of senior developers to support customer needs.
  • Supporting the implementation of SEO best practices and learning how to optimize for conversion, accessibility, and usability in collaboration with the design team.
  • Contributing to various internal brand & marketing needs, and much more as you grow into the role.

Requirements

  • Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in backend development, particularly with PHP and Laravel.
  • Basic knowledge of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) principles, with a desire to learn more about SOLID design patterns and MVC architecture.
  • Familiarity with PHP and Laravel (Laravel 8/9 preferred but not required).
  • Understanding of basic database concepts, ideally with MySQL or another relational database like PostgreSQL.
  • Interest in version control systems like Git (experience not mandatory but a plus).

What's in it for you?

  • Open communication: Your ideas matter. We encourage everyone to contribute and share their thoughts.
  • Supportive learning environment: You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced developers and grow your skill set.
  • Work-life balance: No late hours or weekend work. We believe in maintaining a healthy balance.
  • Fun company retreats: Get to know your colleagues in a relaxed, informal setting.
  • Modern hardware: Get your hands on the latest tech to help you succeed in your role (e.g., M1 MacBook).
